There’s no question that the best days at the dealership are the days when everyone is selling cars and making money. But when things are slow, the word “fun” rarely, if ever, seems to come up.
Well, we believe the secret to having fun is pro-activity. Being proactive involves things like goal-setting competitions, to see who can sell the first car of the day. Or, who can set the most appointments by 3:00. Or even have vehicle walk-around competitions with competitive vehicles.
Some dealers even have a morning huddle and cheer session to energize and inspire their team for the day. These are just a few examples of literally hundreds of ways to generate a fun environment at the dealership.
Encouraging this type of atmosphere will promote long-term employment, team-member satisfaction and happier customers.
